Jordan B. Schwartzberg, MD
Dr. Jordan B. Schwartzberg is a double board certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon who practices at the Boca Raton Skin Institute. He has been practicing in Boca Raton since 2004. He performs a blend of general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, including Mohs surgery, and cosmetic/aesthetic services.
Dr. Schwartzberg has a comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology practice, having performed many thousands of cases of Mohs surgery. He treats most dermatologic conditions in adults and children, including eczema, psoriasis, rashes, acne, hair loss, warts, and many others. He routinely performs full-body examinations on his patients to check for skin cancers. Dr. Schwartzberg truly cares about his patients’ well-being and is committed to following his patients through their entire treatment process. He frequently personally calls his patients for follow-up of often complex medical problems and to check on them after surgery to make sure they are comfortable.
Dr. Schwartzberg has co-authored several articles for publication and has made presentations to medical societies. He also remains an active participant in ongoing medical research. Additionally, he has performed community activities in dermatology such as volunteering at CBS 4’s “Ask The Experts” skin cancer phone bank, contributing on Fox 29’s “One Minute Wisdoms,” and lecturing on Boca Raton Educational Television. He also continues to volunteer at skin cancer screenings.
Dr. Schwartzberg graduated Cum Laude in biology from the University of Miami and received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha (top 10%). He performed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Florida and completed his residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of Miami, earning recognition for excellence in dermatologic surgery and excellence in research.
Dr. Schwartzberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Ondene Forrest, MMS, PA-C, DSDPA
Ondene started practicing dermatology in South Florida in 2007 by way of Dallas, Texas. With an undergraduate degree in psychology, Ondene found her passion in medicine after working for three years as a clinical research assistant at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. From 2005-2007, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Master of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with University Honors, and she has been in the field of dermatology ever since.
Having completed her SDPA Diplomate Fellowship, Ondene is a Certified Diplomate Dermatology Physician Assistant. Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants, she is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Ondene’s motivation is her love of everything related to the skin, and she appreciates the plethora of conditions that bring patients in the door. Whether she is screening and treating patients for skin cancer, treating complicated cases of psoriasis, investigating the underlying cause of a rash or breakout, Ondene loves the challenge of helping each patient feel better. Known for being extremely current on the latest research and very experienced in treating complex medical dermatology, she appreciates patients’ desires to be understood and to be relieved of the symptoms they are experiencing.
In addition to being very knowledgeable, Ondene is a calming influence and helps patients feel at ease. She is experienced in working with fillers such as Restylane® and Sculptra® as well as neuromodulators such as Dysport® to enhance and rejuvenate the skin.
Helping patients achieve their goals is very important to her. She knows whether treating a patient for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, a suspicious mole, or performing laser treatment to even out skin pigmentation, her mission is the same. She aims to treat all her patients with the compassion and thoroughness they deserve.
